Graduated BS in Chemistry (Minor: Chemical Engineer) from Central University of Venezuela in 2003. I have worked as an Assistant Research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, California since February 2004, under the supervision of:

  • Dr. Frank Asaro (performing sample preparation of Archeological samples: i.e. Pottery, for posterior analysis with Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA) and X-ray Diffraction.
  • Dr. Vincent Battaglia, performing characterization of materials used to fabricate rechargeable lithium batteries by Brunauer, Emmet and Teller (BET), and Particle Size Analysis (PSA), and
  • Dr. Richard E. Russo, the duties I have been performing during my time in Dr. Russo's lab involved the use of laser ablation as a sample introduction technology for chemical analysis using an Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS).
