Dai Wang is currently a Senior Scientific Engineering Associate in Grid Integration Group, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Before Joining LBNL, Dai was a visiting student at UC Berkeley from Sep. 2014 to Sep. 2015. Dai received Ph.D degree in Systems Engineering Institute at Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2015. He focuses on power system optimization/contol/cyber-security, EV-grid integration and Microgrid energy management. As a key member of multiple DOE/CEC projects, Dai is engaged in the development VGISoft and H2VGI, which are research platforms for understanding how Plug-in EV and Fuel Cell EV will interact with he power grid. He also works on some emerging topics in energy/transportation/environmental areas including power system cyber security, autonomous vehicles, EV battery degradation, blockchain, etc.
